Almost every home has things that are still perfectly useful but no longer needed: the cot your child has outgrown, a study table from college days, a pressure cooker after an upgrade, a shelf of books you have already read, a cooler that was replaced by an AC.

Selling them takes time — photos, calls, bargaining, people who never turn up. The scrap dealer pays very little. Throwing them away feels wrong. Meanwhile, a student a few streets away needs exactly that table, and a young family nearby is looking for a cot.

We built GiveAway to connect those two people in a few minutes. You post the item, choose who gets it, and hand it over. That’s it.

• Private by design. Only your area is public. Your exact address is shared only in a private chat, only after you accept someone.
• Every listing is checked. Our moderation team and automatic checks keep out spam, scams and prohibited items.
• Trust you can see. Ratings and reviews after every handover, and a Verified badge for members with a confirmed email and mobile number.
• In your language. English, Hindi and Thai today, with more languages on the way.
