These are needed for the site to work, so they cannot be switched off.

• Sign-in cookies (names starting with “sb-”) keep you signed in securely. They are removed when you sign out or when your session expires.
• Language cookie (“NEXT_LOCALE”) remembers whether you chose English or Hindi.
• Security check — Cloudflare Turnstile may use temporary data to check that you are a real person when you sign up, sign in or post an item.

If you choose Accept, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use GiveAway — for example, which pages are popular and whether a new feature works. Google Analytics sets cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_…”, kept for up to 13 months.

We do not use analytics data for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set.

To show Recently viewed and Picked for you on the home page, two small cookies remember the last 12 items you opened (“ga-recent”) and which categories you looked at most (“ga-interests”). They stay in your browser for up to 90 days; we do not store them in our database or share them with anyone.

You can remove them at any time with the Clear links on the home page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.

Your choice is saved in your browser. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings — note that deleting sign-in cookies will sign you out.
